UK/EU standard/table lamp (hole for bulb at the bottom of the shade, hole is 40mm diameter with a 25mm converter plug).
USA harp/spider (for standard/table lamps, smaller hole at the top of the shade).
Ceiling/pendant lamp (hole for bulb at the top of the shade).
Liner/inside colour options:
White: gives you maximum brightness when lit, as it allows the light to shine through the fabric.
Old Gold (matt): mottled, matt, pale and cool gold colour- looks more opulent inside when unlit. When lit it throws warm light upwards and downwards, not through the fabric.
Gold (Matt) : mottled, matt, yellowy and warm gold colour- looks more opulent inside when unlit. When lit it throws warm light upwards and downwards, not through the fabric.
Brushed Copper: warm metallic tone with a lightly brushed finish.
Brushed Silver: lightly brushed metallic finish.
Mirror Gold: high shine gold – luxurious high-end finish inside when unlit. When lit it reflects light upwards and downwards, not through the fabric.
(Please see the photo that illustrates the different colours).
Round drum-shaped lampshade, covered by hand in a natural coloured Japanese linen/cotton fabric featuring cats printed in black with white detail. (This is large print, pattern placement will vary , please let me know if you have any preference).
This will bring a touch of feline elegance to your room.
The rigid body of the shade is covered with a high quality linen/cotton fabric and attached to metal rings top and bottom, the top edges are then rolled and tucked under.
Sizes refer to the diameter of the rings – I make them in standard heights but they can be made to other heights for custom orders.
These are made in my home studio in Chester, England and can be shipped to most addresses across the world.
Pattern placement and direction will vary, particularly on smaller sizes. There will be a small joining seam at the back where the pattern will not match.
Any questions? Feel free to contact me for help or advice.
Prefer a different size, colour, shape, inside colour or want to add a trim? Contact me or Request a Custom order.
I also make sewn/soft lampshades in traditional shapes.
This is for a shade only, not any electrical fittings.
An optional diffuser, either covered with matching fabric or uncovered, is available to spread the light of pendant lights and hide the light bulb, please see this listing: https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/559530123/light-diffuser-for-vintage-high-st?ref=shop_home_active_1

Over 200 Unusual and unique designs

I started selling fabrics in 2010. I had been making handbags and selling them in a shop in Chester and people often asked where I got the unusual fabrics I made them from. I was importing them from the USA in small quantities, so I upped the quantities and sold on what I didn’t use.
