Light diffuser for A Shade Unusual pendant/ceiling lampshades ONLY, 25cm or 30cm, not for sale on their own

£15.00£23.00

Light diffuser discs (plain or covered) for use with A Shade Unusual's pendant/ceiling lampshades only (not for use with table/standard lamps).
THESE ARE NOT FOR SALE ON THEIR OWN – sorry but if you order them without a lampshade your order will be cancelled.
These are translucent polypropylene discs, which allow light through the bottom of your shade ceiling (but it is not see-through).
Use these to diffuse and spread the light from the bottom of a lampshade, hiding the lightbulb (ideal for unattractive low-energy bulbs).
This is especially useful if your lampshade is to be hung from a high ceiling, drawing the eye to the lampshade design rather than the inside of the bulb.
Also available covered with matching fabric for your shade.
Easy to fit, just drop it onto the bottom ring of the Lampshade, where it sits snugly with no glue (this is to allow you to put your hand up into the shade to insert the lightbulb).
These do not work on table/standard/floor lamps.
1200 micron translucent polypropylene with an orange peel, semi gloss finish.

Tested for fire resistance to comply with BS EN 60598-1-2008, the British Standard for Luminaries.
Maximum recommended bulb wattage 60w. Low energy bulbs reduce the risk of scorching.

Over the last few years I’ve supplied quirky fabrics from all over the world. Japan is the latest country I am plundering (they have some really great stuff there)! I use my favourite fabrics to make unique lampshades for your home.

Over 200 Unusual and unique designs

I started selling fabrics in 2010. I had been making handbags and selling them in a shop in Chester and people often asked where I got the unusual fabrics I made them from. I was importing them from the USA in small quantities, so I upped the quantities and sold on what I didn’t use.
