UK/EU LAMP for EU style standard or floor lamps (hole for bulb at the bottom of the shade, hole is 40mm diameter with a 25mm converter plug).
USA HARP for US style table lamps (smaller hole at the top of the shade).
CEILING or pendant lamp (hole for bulb at the top of the shade).
Liner/inside colour options:
White: gives you maximum brightness when lit, as it allows the light to shine through the fabric.
Old Gold (also known as Champagne) or Gold Matt: mottled finish that looks warm inside when unlit. When lit it throws light upwards and downwards, not through the fabric.
Brushed Copper, Gold or Silver : shiny with a lightly brushed finish, allows a little light through the fabric.
Mirror Gold: high shine gold – luxurious high-end finish inside when unlit. Lets a small amount of light through the fabric.
(Please see the photo that illustrates the different colours).
Round drum-shaped lampshade, covered by hand in a cotton fabric featuring cranes on a black background. Delicate highlights of metallic gold colour catch the light.
This print works both ways up, so some birds will be upside down.
Also available in beige. blue or red.
This oriental / Art Deco style would be at home in both traditional and modern interiors due to its clean lines and timeless elegance.
The rigid body of the shade is covered with a high quality Japanese 100% cotton fabric and attached to metal rings top and bottom, the top edges are then rolled and tucked under.
These are made in my home studio in Chester, England and can be shipped to most addresses across the world.
Pattern placement will vary slightly, particularly on smaller sizes. There will be a small joining seam at the back where the pattern will not match.

This is for a shade only, not any electrical fittings.
Tested for fire resistance to comply with BS EN 60598-1-2008, the British Standard for Luminaries.
The PVC liner material has been tested in the Lighting Association Laboratories and has passed the glow wire test.
Maximum recommended bulb wattage for 15cm is 40w, then 60w for larger sizes. Low energy bulbs reduce the risk of scorching.

Over the last few years I’ve supplied quirky fabrics from all over the world. Japan is the latest country I am plundering (they have some really great stuff there)! I use my favourite fabrics to make unique lampshades for your home.

Over 200 Unusual and unique designs

I started selling fabrics in 2010. I had been making handbags and selling them in a shop in Chester and people often asked where I got the unusual fabrics I made them from. I was importing them from the USA in small quantities, so I upped the quantities and sold on what I didn’t use.
